This course teaches employees how to protect themselves and others from being exposed to blood or blood-containing materials. This course is designed to meet OSHA requirements for bloodborne pathogens training when paired with site-specific instruction. Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) is designed to highlight the importance of team dynamics and communication, systems of care, and immediate post-cardiac-arrest care. Airway management and related pharmacology are also covered. Basic ECG rhythm identification is reviewed as it pertains to ACLS algorithms and treatment.
