Description
Audience: Course designed to teach Healthcare students, medical professionals, EMS, and other personnel how to perform high-quality CPR individually or as part of a team for working in a wide variety of in hospital and pre-hospital settings where this training is required along with Heartsaver Blended Learning First Aid. You will receive a key-code for the online First Aid course that must be completed prior to your BLS Provider in person class. The hands-on skills session for the First Aid will be in conjunction with your BLS Provider classroom course
Prerequisites: None.
Requirements: 2020 edition of the AHA Provider Manual (hard or eBook copy available at checkout).
Course duration: Up to 4 hours.
What is covered: The ability to recognize several life-threatening emergencies, provided Adult, Child and Infant cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR), use an automated external defibrillator (AED), team dynamics, relieve choking and key steps in first aid in a safe, timely, and effective manner are the main highlights of this course.
Completion card: American Heart Association BLS Provider and First Aid eCards are issued when the students completes an exam and required survey; eCards are valid for two years.
